Welcome to K-Dub Hacks 2026 Get ready for 48 hours of building, collaboration, and innovation. K-Dub Hacks 2026 brings together students and developers to design, code, and test working software from scratch. Solve real-world problems, present to a live judging panel, and compete for $2,000 in total cash prizes.

The Challenge: AI for Contractors This year, teams are challenged to build an AI workflow dashboard designed specifically for contractors. Your goal is to create a unified tool that manages jobs, teams, schedules, and documents, with AI doing the heavy lifting. Key features to tackle include:

- Job and project tracking on a single dashboard

- AI-assisted scheduling, quoting, and estimating

- Document and invoice automation

- Crew and subcontractor management

- AI-generated summaries and client status updates

- Admin workflow automations and third-party integrations

What to Expect

- Team Formation: Meet other builders, choose your track, and form your squad on Friday.

- Build Weekend: Spend 48 hours developing your project with on-site mentors, tools, and datasets.

- Demos & Judging: When the clock runs out on Sunday, present your working software to the judges.

- Prizes: $1,000 in cash prizes awarded per track (two tracks total).

- Corey Barron (Lead Host): Owner of Enterprise Software Solutions, veteran of 200+ software projects, and organizer of the original RoadStar Hackathon.

- Abdul Aziz Hyder (Co-Host): President of the AWS Student Builders Group, backing participants with cloud tools, workshops, and community support.
