Hi, I'm Torrin Leonard, a full-stack software engineer based in Waterloo, Ontario.
Builderloo is a side project, not a company pitch. I'm building it in the open because I want the Waterloo Region tech community to have a resource it actually owns. Want to know more about me? Have a look around.
Why it exists
The scene is hard to see
Kitchener-Waterloo has one of the densest tech ecosystems in Canada, but there's no single, current place to see who's actually building here. Lists go stale, and a lot of good work stays invisible.
So I built a living directory
Builderloo keeps an up to date, public view of Waterloo Region tech startups and local tech news. It is free to browse and needs no signup, just a current snapshot of who is building here.
For the people building here
Founders, job seekers, investors, and the merely curious should be able to find the Waterloo Region ecosystem in one place. If you run a startup here, you will be able to claim and edit your listing.
