Purpose:
The Salesforce QA supports the testing and quality assurance function within the IT Delivery Team, helping to ensure that all solutions delivered across the Salesforce platform are reliable, perform well, and meet compliance requirements.
Working under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Lead, the role focuses on executing test activities, recording and tracking defects, and helping to embed good quality practices throughout the delivery lifecycle. Working closely with the QA Lead, developers, and the wider Delivery and Projects teams, the Salesforce QA plays a hands-on role in testing new features, enhancements, and fixes before they reach our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their QA and Salesforce expertise within a fast-paced, Agile environment in a regulated finance setting. In short, the Salesforce QA helps make sure that what gets built works as intended, while developing the skills, processes, and tools needed to support the platform as it continues to grow.
Key responsibilities include:
Execute manual test cases and scenarios for new Salesforce features, enhancements, and bug fixes, following test plans set by the QA Lead
Support the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our Salesforce platform and custom-built digital journeys
Identify, log, and track defects clearly and accurately, working with developers to verify fixes and carry out regression testing
Assist with building and running automated tests as the QA function’s automation capability grows
Maintain accurate test documentation, including test results, defect reports, and quality metrics
Follow and help improve QA standards, processes, and best practices in a fast-paced Agile environment
Support UAT activities and training workshops, helping stakeholders test and understand new solutions
