A Kitchener network of four early-stage funds that invests in Canadian technology companies, mostly at the seed stage and built on strong IP.
Archangel Network of Funds is a network of four early-stage funds, Adrenaline, Axion, StarForge and Phoenix Fire, with its office in Kitchener. Its January 2026 update says it has raised $25 million in committed capital and that its funds have made 162 investments in 79 companies since 2020. The same update calls 2026 Archangel’s final year of deployment.
Adrenaline passively co-invests alongside experienced lead angel investors, and StarForge is actively managed, sourcing deals mostly in the Toronto-Waterloo ecosystem. Axion backs research-based companies from universities and innovation centres across Canada, and companies planning to settle in Northern Ontario. Phoenix Fire invests in women entrepreneurs across Canada.
