A Kitchener product design and marketing firm that designs software and hardware for startups, and invests in some of them through SnapPea Ventures.
SnapPea designs digital and physical products and runs digital marketing, from research and first concepts to designs ready for developers and for manufacturing. It has done this work since 2014 and is based in Kitchener.
SnapPea Ventures is its program for startups. A startup qualifies by finishing SnapPea's Market & Sales Validation Course or by showing real traction, then pays as little as half the standard fees while SnapPea invests through SAFEs. SnapPea says it has invested over $1M in startups over the past four years. Space in the program is limited.
Founder and CEO Steven Fyke spent over 14 years in design and development leadership at BlackBerry, holds over 180 granted US patents and mentors at the Accelerator Centre.
