BitBakery
Product design firm · Kitchener · bitbakery.co
A Kitchener software design and development firm that builds web and mobile apps for startups, scale-ups and large companies.
BitBakery designs and builds software for web, mobile and kiosks. For startups it can be the whole tech team for a first product, from storyboards and wireframes to prototypes and the app stores. It also adds developers and designers to a company's own team when a deadline comes early, and places teams inside larger clients.
The client owns the code and the IP for what BitBakery builds, and BitBakery never outsources the work. It works on fixed fee or time based contracts. Since 2023 it has built AI features into its clients' apps, starting with a ChatGPT powered mobile app.
Its team built apps for BlackBerry, Yellow Pages and AutoTrader before founding BitBakery in 2014. It is led by CEO Wes Worsfold, a mentor in the Waterloo Region startup community, CTO Joe Reda and Director of User Experience Attila Schmidt.
