AppLogic Networks powers the networks behind AI and the critical applications people rely on every day. We help network owners service providers and Enterprises understand how applications perform, how users experience them, and where action is needed to improve quality, efficiency, security, and profitability. Our software combines application intelligence, experience visibility, contextual insights, and real-time control to help customers elevate observability and do more with the networks they already run. As AI reshapes how the world works, connects, and communicates, AppLogic Networks helps ensure modern applications run smoothly across any network, from the consumer edge to the data center. Join our team and help build the software that makes networks smarter, more adaptive, and ready for what comes next.
The next generation of enterprise networking and analytics products won't be built by teams that simply execute a roadmap, they will be built by engineers who combine deep technical expertise with modern AI-driven software development. At AppLogic Networks, we are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of our high-performance data plane. This is an opportunity to build products that solve complex enterprise networking challenges while playing a direct role in shaping product strategy, technical direction, and customer success.
We're looking for experienced engineers from organizations that build enterprise networking and analytics products, people who understand what it takes to develop software that is secure, scalable, reliable, and deployed in mission-critical enterprise environments.
At AppLogic, engineering leaders help define what gets built, why it matters, and how it succeeds in the market.
As an Engineering Manager, you'll have the opportunity to influence:
Product strategy and long-term roadmap
Architecture and technology direction
Customer-facing solutions
Feature prioritization and investment decisions
Engineering practices and team culture
Your ideas won't disappear into multiple layers of management. You'll work directly with senior engineering and product leadership, helping shape products that make a measurable difference for enterprise customers. This is an opportunity to help build the future of the company.
We believe Generative AI is fundamentally changing how great software is built. At AppLogic, we are investing in AI-assisted engineering across the software development lifecycle, from architecture and design through implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and operational excellence.
We are looking for leaders who are excited to:
Actively use Generative AI to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
Build engineering workflows that thoughtfully integrate AI into everyday development.
Help teams adopt modern AI-powered development practices while maintaining high engineering standards.
Explore new ways AI can accelerate innovation without compromising design quality or customer trust.
If you're already using AI coding assistants, AI-driven testing, automated code reviews, design assistants, or other Generative AI tools as part of your daily engineering workflow, we would love to hear how you have applied them to deliver better products and stronger engineering outcomes.
Lead a team developing high-performance data plane software for enterprise networking and analytic products.
Drive feature development from concept through customer deployment.
Partner closely with Product Management to influence roadmap, prioritization, and customer value.
Collaborate with architects on scalable, resilient, high-performance networking solutions.
Guide engineers through design, implementation, code reviews, testing, and successful delivery.
Remain technically engaged through architecture reviews and key design decisions.
Champion engineering excellence, innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled software development practices that improve speed, quality, and developer experience.
Engage with customers and field teams to understand real-world enterprise challenges and translate them into impactful product capabilities.
We're looking for engineers who have built real products for enterprise customers, not just software applications. You should have experience developing one or more of the following:
Enterprise networking platforms
Network security products
Firewalls and secure gateways
Application delivery platforms
SD-WAN or SASE solutions
VPN technologies
High-performance packet processing systems
Deep packet inspection, traffic management, or network acceleration technologies
7–12 years of software development experience building enterprise infrastructure software.
Recent technical leadership experience or experience leading a small engineering team.
Strong C/C++ systems programming expertise.
Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, QoS, and network security.
Experience developing software in the data plane or other high-performance networking environments.
Strong Linux systems programming experience.
Excellent software architecture, design, and problem-solving skills.
Practical experience incorporating Generative AI into software engineering workflows to improve productivity, quality, or innovation.
Previous management experience is valuable, but we're equally interested in exceptional technical leaders who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
Within your first year, you will:
Build and develop a high-performing engineering team.
Deliver meaningful capabilities for enterprise customers.
Influence product strategy and …
