At Verda, we're building a full-stack AI cloud, covering everything from data centers and hardware to our own cloud platform that the world's leading AI teams use to do serious AI work.
We strive to make a positive mark on the world through the infrastructure we build and give leading teams a service they can truly depend on. Headquartered in Helsinki, we operate globally with offices in London and San Francisco.
Join Verda while it’s still being built - not once it’s finished.
Why Verda
Cash and equity compensation along with local benefits.
40+ nationalities, with 6 different ones on the management team.
A real chance to make an impact and work alongside world class engineers, researchers, and partners across the global AI ecosystem.
Your responsibilities
Own Verda's editorial calendar and cadence end-to-end, spanning performance benchmarks, deployment guides, applied-research papers, customer stories, and product launches
Ship content consistently against company-wide priorities
Coordinate production across the internal AI Lab, AI Developer Advocates, wider Engineering and Marketing teams, and ecosystem partners
Edit deeply technical content for clarity without distorting substance
Write informational and narrative pieces directly
Direct the SEO & GEO agency and external writers, integrating their input into the editorial plan
Decide when to scale with additional agency or freelance support
Hold a high bar for accepted work regardless of who produces it
Partner closely with Product Marketing — owning the cadence and craft of how positioning shows up, while Product Marketing owns positioning itself
Build the network of contributors that lets the editorial engine scale as the function matures
Your key competencies
5+ years in content marketing or editorial roles, with at least 3 years editing technical content for developer or research-grade audiences
Strong editorial judgement — you know what's worth publishing, what needs another pass, and how to push work to a high bar
Technical enough to fact-check, simplify without distorting, and earn the respect of the researchers and engineers whose work you're shaping
A capable writer in your own right; you can shift between editing and writing without losing voice
Strong cross-stakeholder coordination across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams
Proficient in directing agencies and external contributors, with a clear bar for the quality of work you accept
Experience with (or genuine curiosity about) GEO and how technical content earns citations from AI assistants
Nice to have
Experience at cloud infrastructure, data platform, or developer tool product companies
Familiarity with the AI developer community and the kinds of content that earn its attention and trust
Have built networks of external contributors and/or ambassador or champion programs
