KWIPS - Differential Privacy

KWIPS (Kitchener-Waterloo Infosec and Privacy Salon) is a gathering where folks interested in information security and privacy can come learn about interesting open-access papers and meet others in the community.

For our November get together, Jacob Imola will be presenting his thoughts on the paper "Privacy in Pharmacogenetics: An End-to-End Case Study of Personalized Warfarin Dosing" (https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/usenixsecurity14/sec14-paper-fredrikson-privacy.pdf). Differential Privacy is the primary privacy concept Jacob will be covering in his presentation. This will be followed by a brief Q+A session and an hour+ for you to get to know the other attendees.

Please know that masks are required at this event. If you do not have a mask there will be some at the door.

Doors will open at 1845h.
